Fortnite adds helicopters at the perfect time

Fortnite has officially added a new vehicle that fits the theme of its ongoing season — helicopters.

What's going on?

The official Fortnite Twitter account posted a new video that shows off the new helicopter vehicle, which will arrive with the new update for the game.

The video shows players shooting from within the helicopter. One gamer must pilot the aircraft vehicle.

The helicopter doesn't appear to be available in competitive mode.

The danger of helicopters:

Fortnite has tried to add vehicles to its game before. Airplanes made quite an impression on the game in 2018, as I wrote for the Deseret News.

According to ComicBook.com: "Previously, both planes and mechs have made appearances, with both being fairly divisive at the time. It remains to be seen whether the Choppa will be as polarizing, however, but there's plenty of time for people to fall in love with it, have it get on their nerves, and fall in love with it again. There is, after all, no telling just how long it might stick around."
